چکیده

Abstract Background Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) cases undergoing in vitro fertilisation (IVF) are widely at risk of hyperstimulation; therefore, elective freezing all embryos to be transferred a later cycle is preferred. We aimed compare the pregnancy outcome between fresh and frozen embryo transfer (ET) PCOS IVF with antagonist induction using human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) as trigger. Methods In this prospective randomised study, 110 infertile women underwent ET (group A) or B) GnRH-antagonist protocol. The primary was chemical clinical rates. secondary outcomes were ongoing rate, hyperstimulation (OHSS) loss ectopic congenital anomalies rate. Results There no significant difference both groups regarding rate (44.23% vs 47.27%, P = 0.752), (42.31% 43.64%, 0.89), (38.46% 41.82%, 0.723), (17.39% 15.4%, 1), (1.92% 0%, 0.486) anomaly malformation (4.35% 3.85%, 1). On other hand, incidence OHSS significantly less group B than A (3.64% 19.23%, 0.011), grade severe ( 0.033). However, there statistically need for hospitalisation 0.111), ICU admission 0.486), ascites tapping 0.486). Conclusions Under protocol, has upper hand treatment infertility, it protects against decreases its severity. Trial registration It first registered ClinicalTrials.gov on 22/12/2021 number NCT05167838.

Pregnancy rate in women with adenomyosis undergoing fresh or frozen embryo transfer cycles following gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist treatment

OBJECTIVE To determine the preferred regimen for women with adenomyosis undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF), we compared the IVF outcomes of fresh embryo transfer (ET) cycles with or without gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist pretreatment and of frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles following GnRH agonist treatment. METHODS This retrospective study included 241 IVF cycles ...

Live birth after fresh embryo transfer vs elective embryo cryopreservation/frozen embryo transfer in women with polycystic ovary syndrome undergoing IVF (FreFro-PCOS): study protocol for a multicenter, prospective, randomized controlled clinical trial

BACKGROUND Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients are at increased risk of pregnancy complications, which may impair pregnancy outcome. Transfer of fresh embryos after superovulation may lead to abnormal implantation and placentation and further increase risk for pregnancy loss and complications. Some preliminary data suggest that elective embryo cryopreservation followed by frozen-thawed em...
